Kingdom Schools of Taekwon-Do were established by Mr Adrian O’Mahoney VI Degree on the 8th of December 2004 in Listowel, then Tralee in September 2007 and lastly Ballybunion & Tarbert in September 2008.
We teach ITF Taekwon-Do as laid down by the Founder, General Choi Hong Hi IX Degree, to promote all aspects of TKD: as a sport, a Martial Art, a way of life and as a tool for social development.
The Schools are affiliated to the Irish Taekwon-Do Association (ITA) and the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) and is recognised by Irish Sports Council (ISC) through the Irish Martial Arts Commission (IMAC).
Mr O’Mahoney is an ITF 6th Degree, an International Instructor, an International Umpire, a certified 1st Aider, Child Protection Certified and an ISC qualified coach. He is a full time Taekwon-Do Instructor as well as a TKD Tiger Instructor.
Through Taekwon-Do training we hope to promote a healthier way of living. The system of training is designed to be progressive and aid in becoming more physically fit and mentally aware, increase flexibility and coordination. The etiquette involved in Taekwon-Do helps to develop the moral side of a student, through self discipline, integrity, humility and respect for themselves as well as other students and Instructors.
